With that in mind, we decided it would be fun to help others by building them quality & affordable websites so that they could continue to focus on what really matters to them - being creative.   • Do you use WordPress for your sites?
    Currently the prices shown on our site are NOT for wordpress powered sites. Although we love WordPress, the time and resources involved in keeping our costs low prevent us from using it for the majority of our sites. BUT, if you need a wordpress site, we are more than are happy to give you a revised quote for one. Just let us know! Back To Top
  • Do you require a deposit?
    Yes. We require a 25% non-refundable deposit on the base price of your site to secure your spot in the build line. This deposit will be put towards the final cost of your site. Back To Top
  • Are there any hidden fees?

  • What types of payment do you accept?
    We accept Visa or Mastercard debit & credit cards as well as Check or PayPal. Payment will be discussed during the initial setup of your site. Please make sure to let us know your preferred method of payment. Back To Top
  • Do I need to purchase any additional software to use the optional hassle free CMS system?
    Nope. The CMS system we use is integrated into pre-defined sections of your site during the build and will allow you to use 'any' browser you wish to simply log-in and begin editing. There is an iPhone app available in the iTunes app store that will allow you to edit your site from your phone. We'll give you more information on that if you decide to use the CMS. Back To Top
  • Is there a setup fee to use the optional hassle free CMS system?
    Yes. There is a fee of $100 (one time) to setup the CMS system for our clients. Once the site is launched, the CMS system is billed at a rate of $30/month to the client. Back To Top
  • Refunds
    For DESIGN ONLY clients:
    We do not provide refunds once payment is made; either for the deposit or the full payment when your site is launched. Open and honest communication regarding the build process of your site is essential. You are in essence building the site with us. We do not build anything into your site unless it is approved by you first.

    For HOSTING clients:
    We want you to be happy with the service we provide to you. However, we understand that things happen and our services may not be for everyone. We have a very flexible refund policy. We will refund the unused balance of your account(s) and close your membership at any time upon written request. However, if you have registered domains through Well Water Design, you must transfer them to a new registrar or abandon them prior to requesting cancellation.

    Well Water Design issues refunds through the same method (e.g. credit card, PayPal) that you used to setup your account. Due to time limits imposed by our payment processors, sometimes this is not possible. In these cases we can mail a check to US residents for a fee of $3.00.

    If issuing a refund costs more than the amount of the refund, your remaining balance will be considered a non-refundable credit.

    Refunds are not available on account renewals.

  • Do you use Flash in your sites?
    Our sites are built using HTML5, CSS3 & JQUERY. Due to the ever-increasing demand for mobile platforms (iPhones, iPods, iPads, Android, etc), we personally believe that Flash is not stable enough for future implementation in its current state. Thus, we have chosen to work Flash-free in the foundation of our sites. However, we can still use Flash elements in a site if you wish (i.e. media players, photo galleries, etc). But we strongly suggest against it for the best cross-platform experience. Back To Top
  • Do you offer 100% custom-built sites?
    Our sites utilize themes that we customize to fit your specific needs thus they are not 100% custom. At this time we do not offer 100% custom-built sites. Back To Top
  • Can I change the entire website design after it is launched?
    Before your site is launched, we will go over the final draft with you. Once the site is approved by you, the main elements of your site are going to remain static (non-editable) and un-editable. These include the base colors, fonts and overall structure of the site. If you wish to have control over some photos, text, etc, you can use our optional CMS system for $30/month. For core-level changes (theme changes, layout, main colors, large amounts of content), we charge $300. Back To Top
  • Who adds the content into the site?
    The site content is provided by you (the customer) to us and we add it to your site initially. If your content needs proofing/editing/alterations, we can do this for you for a fee (dependent on the amount of work involved). Once the site is launched, any changes made to your site will be charged at a rate of $40/hour. You may also use the optional CMS system for $30/month to have anytime control over your content.   • Do I need a domain name?
    Yes.
    You will need to have a domain name secured for us to build your site. We recommend registering your domain right away before beginning the build process. Each domain registered by Well Water Design is $15/year. If you wish to register your domains with another registrar, please let us know which registrar you will be using prior to the build process.   • What browsers will my new site support?
    Every site we build is compatible with all major browsers (i.e. Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox & Chrome) with the exception of older versions of each browser (Internet Explorer is not recommend). Some sites will not play nicely with browsers that are not updated to their most current build. Back To Top
  • Do you offer any E-Marketing/Newsletter solutions?
    We sure do!
    We have a great integrated E-Marketing solution built into our services. Be sure to mention that you are interested in this when you talk to us about your new site.   • Can you build me a STORE that I can sell digital downloads (Audio/Video/Ebooks) through?
    Absolutely!
    This is one of the things we love doing for our creative friends (Artists/Bands/Songwriters/Etc). You might be thinking "with so many online options for selling your music, who needs their own store?" YOU DO. Why? Because you work to hard to pay out the little nickel and dime fees to iTunes and the rest of the places your music is sold.   • Where do I begin?
    Simple. Use our CONTACT PAGE to send us a note with what you are looking for in your site. We will setup a time for a phone call and/or video chat to go over your ideas for your new site. Once we get a general direction in place, we will mock-up your site and show you where we are headed. We will not continue into the build until you give us approval of the general layout of your site. Back To Top
  • Why should I use Well Water Design?
    Because you will be hard pressed to find a better deal anywhere else. Websites today can easily cost thousands of dollars - not including the hosting and setup fees of these sites. We have chosen a different route and want to save our customers as much money as possible so they can focus on their creativity, brand & products. Some companies require a non-negotiable monthly fee from their customers for a CMS integrated site; we again have chosen to make this an 'optional' choice. If you want CMS options, just let us know before your site is built so we can code it into your site. If you don't want to use CMS at any point after your site is built, you can choose not to as well. There are no contracts and no gimmicks. Simple. Back To Top
  • How long will it take for my site to be built?
    It depends on the amount of content you desire to have within your site and the current backlog of other clients. Typically we can have a site mocked up, themed, built and launched in about 4 weeks. Some enterprise and larger business sites may take longer .
