- Login to your cPanel.
- Click on "backups" under the "Files" section of your cPanel.
- Click on "Download and generate full backup" button.
- Specify the location as public_html so that you can download the backup easily by accessing http://domain.com/backup.tar.gz in your browser.
- The backup of the entire account will be copied to the public_html directory of the account.
- Now provide 777 permissions to that backup file and access http://domain.com/backup.tar.gz in your browser so that it will be downloaded to your machine.
